William "Bill" Lycurgus Petway III, age 57, of Chesterfield, Va., passed away on Tuesday, January 9, 2007. He was born in Richmond, Va., the son of the late William L. II and Ruth Davies Petway. Mr. Petway was a proud member of the Virginia Classic T. Bird Club and a general contractor in the Chesterfield area for 35 years. He was a loving husband, father and a great provider to his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Jodie M. Petway; two daughters, Valerie Dodson and husband, Jason, of Charlottesville, Va. and Sharon Petway of Chesterfield; a son, Daniel Petway of Chesterfield; a brother, Morgan D. Petway of Mathews, Va.; and a sister, Evelyn Luskin and husband, Seigfried, of Glendale, Ariz. The family will receive friends at the Chesterfield Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service on Thursday, January 11, 2007 from 6 to 8 p.m., where a funeral service will follow on Friday, January 12, 2007 at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in Dale Memorial Park, Chesterfield, Va.
