Kenneth Wayne Baker, 52, of 1700 Jeffrey Street, died Tuesday, June 11, 2002 at Wake Medical Center. He was born in Richmond, Virginia on October 29, 1949 to the late Lloyd Reginald Baker and Grace Elizabeth Payne. Wayne was President and owner of Olde Town Supply Company of Clayton.

Surviving: wife, Valerie Muh Baker; mother, Dottie Payne of Richmond, VA; daughters, Amy Garner and her husband, Paul Garner of Greensboro, Elizabeth Wood and her husband, Joey Wood of Wendell, Jennifer Baker of the home; son, Christopher Baker of the home; grandchildren, Alex and Elliot Garner, Chase and Chelsea Wood; brothers, Ernie Baker and his wife, Cindi of Atlanta, GA, Bruce Baker and his wife, Rhonda Ligon of Richmond, VA, Bill Baker of Richmond, VA; sister, Debbie Berman and her husband, Jake or Richmond, VA.
