Gene was married to Nancy McDaniel. sister of Patti. She and Gene had a son in 1969 and lived at Oak Hurst Manor. They were only together a short period of time, but they were happy. Gene had a brother in a class after us who I think went into Real Estate. Nancy's mom owed McDaniel Realty. My mom and her mom worked together. I believe Gene re-married and it faied for reasons I don't know. Gene was fun but reserved. Nancy was always the dominant partner. Gene was well liked but I think he fell into a lonely time in his life but only his brother knows exactly what happened.
